This cookie marks when the Drift site visitor has provided their email address to Drift. This allows the Drift widget to process this site visitor as a known visitor rather than anonymous. Although this is a marker for PII it does not relate directly to the email address that has been captured, that identifier is handled by the driftt_aid cookie.
